WHAT TO EXPECT

Renfrew Baptist is a small, warm congregation gathering around one commitment: allegiance to King Jesus. We are not chasing relevance or reinventing ourselves to suit the moment -- we are after something older and more durable than style. We want truth, and we want love, and we refuse to trade one for the other. The good news is that both love and truth are found in an always overflowing abundance in Christ Jesus.

 

 
 

On Sunday mornings, you will find us at the corner of Renfrew and 3rd, where this church has worshipped for many years. We sing hymns that have carried the faith across centuries, and newer songs with the theological weight to do the same. We pray together, as a body, because we believe prayer is not a formality but a lifeline. And we open the Bible and preach through it, verse by verse, because we believe it is the Word of God -- not merely a historical document to be admired but the voice of the Living God still addressing us today.
