Childhood is brief, but its formative influence endures. At Renfrew Baptist, we believe that the years of youth are not a waiting room before real life begins — they are the soil in which character, conviction, and faith take root. Following the example of Christ, who welcomed children into his arms and not merely his agenda, we seek to meet young people where they're at with genuine love and unhurried attention.
Yet love without truth is sentiment, and sentiment does not sustain a soul. The deepest question facing every young person is not which university to attend or which career to pursue — it is which Kingdom they belong to, and to whom they will give their allegiance. We take that question seriously, and we ask young people to take it seriously too. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not a background comfort but a summons — a call to repent, believe, and live as citizens of a Kingdom that will not end.
