SERMONS

Paul's letter to the Romans is the most comprehensive exposition of the gospel in all of Scripture. It's a sustained, brilliant argument that God has kept every promise He made to Israel by sending His Son to bear the judgment the world deserved and rise as the Lord of a renewed creation. Here we learn what it means that we are justified by faith, that the Spirit has been poured out to do what the law could never accomplish, and that God's sovereign grace is the bedrock on which our confidence rests. Romans does not merely explain how individuals get saved; it tells the story of how God is setting the whole world right under the reign of Jesus Christ. To attend carefully to Romans is to have your understanding of God, humanity, history, and hope profoundly transformed.
